Inflation attacking God's Place?

Inflation, INFLATION, InFlAtIoN.....
The most common word you find across the globe. The latest attack has not spared even the God's place. Kerala - God's own country was the favourite vacation spot for the hectic managers to cool off. If they are planning to visit them this season think twice. Kochi (Cochin) airport has increased the ground handling fee for every single flight to Rs.35,000 compared to Rs. 18,000 and Rs.25, 000 respectively charged by international airports at Bangalore and Mumbai. The first casualty -- SpiceJet has halted its operations to Kochi. Soon the other low cost aircraft carriers might follow. Indications are that the travel charges are also going to increase for Destination Kochi. Think twice before you plan your trip. God too is becoming expensive..

Indians - Rich to the core

In a country where about 70% of its population are below the poverty line, who are not in a position to earn a one-time meal for themselves, the cash-rich minorities are on a spending spree. About 65% of the population still earns less than Rs.30 a day. India has spent Rs. 1,000 crore in the last year on extra services like music, wallpapers, cricket scores, games on their mobile phones. That turns around to be Rs. 2.73 crore a day. Do we really have to be that extravagant. Think Folks -- Think.

Bye Bye to India -- Citi Financial

Citi Financial (India's NBFC of Citigroup) is saying bye-bye to India - it seems. it is about to close more than 25% of its operations in India. Citifinancial is to close 125 branches out of the 450 branches in India. Is it the apt time for Citigroup to exit when India is developing at 8% per annum GDP growth. Wise decision ?
