In a country where about 70% of its population are below the poverty line, who are not in a position to earn a one-time meal for themselves, the cash-rich minorities are on a spending spree. About 65% of the population still earns less than Rs.30 a day. India has spent Rs. 1,000 crore in the last year on extra services like music, wallpapers, cricket scores, games on their mobile phones. That turns around to be Rs. 2.73 crore a day. Do we really have to be that extravagant. Think Folks -- Think.
